My sweet Roxy is very quiet. She seldom whines, never growls at the "boys" and has only blessed me with a rare baroo twice since I have had her, which is almost a year now. But she never fails to let me know how she feels about overnight vet visits. This past week my daughter was married and to protect the Bs from open doors and inattentive adults, I boarded the gang for three days. Everytime I must do this, Roxy goes in obediently, but when I pick her up, she lets me know exactly how she feels. How can something like that come out of such a sweet dainty girl? Oh, that's right...she is a basenji!!!
After nearly a year with Bow I've yet to get a true baroo. I'm not really complaining, but would sort of like to hear it one day. I've had some howls, growls and whimpers, as well as other odd sounds.
