In October the
doggie cardiologist told us we had only a few days with Ivan. We were blessed
with nearly five more months with our puppy boy. Ivan was the sun around which
our lives revolved. He was warmth and joy, and he made happiness bloom in our
hearts. We had to return him to the Angels on Thursday, and we are heartbroken.

I am so sorry. There are few things in life that hurt as much as loosing a loved pet. I have had several Basenjis and they are unique, wonderful animals. You were both blessed to have had each other for so long. Rest easy Ivan.
