Basenji Poem

Here is a poem that I wrote about basenji's:


Basenji's

Curly tails wagging,
to say hello
Tiny shoulders sagging,

when you go

Running through the backyard,
doesn't have to try hard

Chasing animals and getting into trouble
It's hard enought to have one basenji,
I wouldn't have double

Ears perking up when you say, "treat"
Always looking for something to eat

When the day is done,
he's had some fun,
and it's time to go to sleep
