The next round of the contest will start again this coming Monday, January 9th, and we'll have another chance to win either the state prize at the end of the contest, one of the weekly prizes ($1000 per week to the top-voted shelter nationwide), or maybe even one of the first, second, or third place nationwide grand prizes. In the past BRAT has won several weekly prizes and several state prizes, and the closest that we've ever come to the top prize was finishing fifth nationwide. The money that we win has helped us out tremendously in this climate of economic downturn, when donations are getting scarce and more dogs are being given up into rescue by families who simply cannot afford to keep a pet. Now more than ever before, BRAT needs to raise all the extra money we possibly can so that we can continue to save basenjis from kill shelters and bad situations -- and this is a perfect way to do it, which doesn't cost anyone a single penny!

Set yourself a reminder on your phone and another one on your computer, to pop up daily with the link to the site so that you remember to click on the link and vote. Send that reminder to your spouse and friends, to remind them to vote daily, too.
